Join us for CISS Panel Night: Explore IT Career in Business, CISS’s exclusive flagship event of the year, designed for students interested in Information Systems, IT, Business, and the future of work. This panel night will bring together five panelists from diverse business and technology backgrounds, including both senior professionals and early-career industry members. They will share their career journeys, industry insights, challenges, and advice on how students can prepare for a fast-changing global workplace. The discussion will also cover key topics such as AI, emerging technologies, career pathways, industry expectations, and the role of IT in modern business. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the panelists and gain valuable guidance for their own career development. This event is especially planned for CISS members and students studying Information Systems, IT, Business, or anyone interested in building a career in the technology-driven business world. The Curtin Information Systems Society invites students to CISS Semester Shutdown, a relaxed end-of-semester social gathering at Curtin Tav. This event is a chance for students to unwind after a busy semester, meet other CISS members, socialise in a casual setting, and celebrate the end of the first semester of the year together. Pizza will be provided, with drinks available for purchase from The Tav. The event is free to attend, but RSVP is required so food numbers can be confirmed. Please note that The Tav is an 18+ venue. Attendees must bring a valid physical ID, as student ID will not be accepted as proof of age.
